Introduction:

What is it? A set of laboratory experiments for students who would otherwise not have access to this type of information.

Why? UWW no longer has a neutron source. This DVD can act as a replacement laboratory, a demonstration, or a class activity.

Why DVD? It can be used with a standard DVD player or a DVD equipped computer. Not all computers have net access. A Web version is in development however.

ConclusionThis DVD can act as a useful resource for student activities and laboratories relating to neutron activation of materials and for investigating the radioactive half-life of those materials.
