The Alcatel-Lucent 9500 MPR aggregates and carries TDM 2G, 3G and IP/Eth over a COMMON PACKET LAYER. This allows sharing a common packet transmission infrastructure, regardless of the carried traffic’s nature.

Due to the nature of Ethernet, each service can be discriminated based on several parameters, including quality of service.
