Skiing
5 days skiing: 5hrs/day

group size of 12.

Safe Skiing• Skiing is a risky activity
• Accidents cannot be ruled out
• First aid trained instructors and staff
• Helmets are compulsory
• Comprehensive school insurance policy
with Zurich.
Staying Healthy
• Sunscreen – SPF 50, lip salve
• Eye protection – goggles/sunglasses
• Asthma/eczema
• Hydration
• Regular meals and snacks
• Appropriate clothing
• Regular exercise before and during the trip
Pain Relief
• Minor aches and pains are not
uncommon after a day of skiing
• Students may want to bring a small
packet of Ibuprofen or Paracetamol
for personal use if appropriate
• Staff are not allowed to give students
these tablets or advise them to take
them

Items to Remember
Medication – i.e. inhalers etc. – keep in hand
luggage.
Plug / Adaptor for the USA
Remember no liquid over 100ml in your hand
luggage. Liquid under 100ml must be placed
in a re-sealable 20 x 20 cm plastic bag –
maximum 1 litre in total.
