Thursday 6/11: Home AssignmentsThese activities should be completed on the Seesaw App. If you are unable to access this app, please complete these activities using the My Fundations Journal previously sent home. If assignments are completed offline, please upload pictures of completed work via Seesaw or email your teacher each day to confirm work has been completed.

Fundations: 10 minutes1) Drill-Sound Warmup - Assigned on Seesaw or have students look at

each sound card. Students should practice saying each sound card. Example- e-e, jeep, /ee/

2) Word of the Day - Assigned on Seesaw or have students practice the word of the day. Write a sentence using limit.

3) Vowel Team Game- Assigned on Seesaw or have students play with a partner. First person to get four in a row wins!

Next, in your Fundations Journal, draw what your school would look like if you could design a school. Write to tell about the school you designed. Make sure to use complete sentences and check your spelling and punctuation!

Today, you will be learning more about subtracting 10s on an open number line and how to use this strategy when completing word problems. This strategy is detailed in image A, and modeled in image B.

Then, in your Fundations Journal please complete #7 & #9 from image C below, by showing your path on the number line and completing the equations. Looking for a challenge… complete number 8 as well and explain your thinking in writing or to someone at hone.

Use image D, below, to complete the Exit Ticket. Look at the number line shown, Complete the equation to match. Then, create a story problem that this could show the solution to. Write your problem down or tell it to someone at home!
