2009 PALITANA CAMP for MOBILITY DISABLED

• We are extremely happy as you have agreed to join the efforts to elevate the sufferings of disabled.

• An email has been sent regarding how to reach Palitana from Mumbai.

• If you are flying, please let us know your flight details.

• If you are staying for 15 days then as promised your lodging and boarding will be taken care of in a dharamshala in Palitana.

• You will also get pick-up and drop facilities from Bhavanagar Airport.

• We will also provide free sight-seeing on your convenience.

The following are the broad areas under which volunteers will be asked to work:

• At the Registration Desk• At Delivery Stands and

all Booths in General• For example : Crutches

Booth, Jaipur Foot Booth

• Help in Logistics Handling of Beneficiaries and accompanying people

• Help in Security Checking

• Logistics Handling of Vehicles that have arrived at the camp.

• If you are associated with healthcare as a doctor or medical assistant (orthopedic care), for physically challenged, audio logistics, and ENT physician to check the ears of the incoming beneficiaries, please inform us.

• We expect around 1500 beneficiares everyday. – They would be 700-

800 physicalley challenged beneficiries

– 500-600 hearing impaired beneficiares.

• Hence there would be a lot of work to be done, and your help would be greatly beneficial.
