DESHAUN SUNDERHAUS: Deshaun Sunderhaus has beenafive-yearmemberoftheSeattleUbasketballpro-gram,redshirtingduringhisfirstyearinthePacificNorth-west.In2012-13,hestarted26ofthe29gamesheplayedin,averaging9.4pointsand6.0reboundspergame.Heimproveduponthoseaveragesin2013-14,averaging10.6pointsand6.2reboundspergamebeforesufferingakneeinjuryatGrandCanyon.Aftergoingthroughagruelingrehab,heplayedineightgamesin2014-15,shooting67.7percentfromthefield.Afterscoring15pointsatSanJoseState, he reinjured the knee in the next game and missed the remainderoftheseason.Heonceagainshowedhisheartbygoing through the rehab, but he decided to end his colle-giate career after suffering another injury to the same knee duringthepreseason.Hehascontinuedtobeapresencearoundthebasketballteamthroughoutthisseasonwithsup-portandadvice.Hewillgraduatewithabachelor’sdegreeincriminaljustice.
