2014 – ALS Walk in KC

God is always working to build my faith so

I can be a faithful follower.

God is always working to build my faith so

I can be a faithful follower.

So how does that happen?

What does it look like to grow in faith?

It is not enough to believe IN God… we must BELIEVE God.

We must believe He is faithful and keeps His

promises.

What does it look like to grow in faith?

God brings people and resources into our lives

to help us grow.

We have to be open to it.

What does it look like to grow in faith?

Instead of taking control, when we

acknowledge that God has control,

unexpected things happen!

What does it look like to grow in faith?

Living a life of faith, even with the

unknown, IS full of peace and joy because

Christ is in control.

What does it look like to grow in faith?

What does it look like to grow in faith?

When I let go of my fears, insecurities and found

peace by breaking down my anxieties caused by the unknown…I felt free to

surrender to God’s plans for me.

“Sometimes what God says may seem illogical in terms of human reasoning. It can be tempting to dismiss a voice that doesn’t support our preconceived ideas, but God’s children need to align themselves with His direction regardless.”

The Jennings Family, Easter 2015

When God calls us to do something outside what we expected… we pray

without ceasing and trudge on, running the race God has given us.

What does it look like to grow in faith?

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.

Hebrews 12:1

Everything we have comes from God.Our faith itself is a gift from God.How we choose to live out that faith is our response to Him.
