2011 USCG Birthday Salute By GMATS

GMATS Students Honor the USCG on its 221st Birthday

To honor the U.S. Coast Guard on its 221st Birthday the students from GMATS marched down to sing “Happy Birthday” to BMC Adam Noorigian, USCG(OIC) in front of the USCG Station. This is the second annual tribute to the USCG by Navy Students attending GMATS.

Led by CWO4 Thomas McLaughlin, USCG(Ret.), and YNCM(SW) Jim Testor, USN(Ret.), the 52 Navy Reserve students from the Electricians Mate Rate Training and Professional Military Knowledge courses presented BMC Noorigian with a cupcake and candle to celebrate the strong bond between the Services.
