DESTINY
Introducing Today’s SermonBy: Pastor Grace
"Destiny"Th e three most important philosophical questions that have ever been asked are these:
1) Where did I come from?
2) Why am I here or what is my purpose?
3) Where am I going?
Th e Scriptures address all three of these questions in great detail. Th e fi rst three chapters of Genesis answer question number one. Genesis 4 through Revelation 19 answers the second question. And Revelation 20-22 answers question number three. Th ose who reject the Scriptures and the notion that they are authoritative in any way are left to speculate and postulate their own reasons for this thing that we call “life.” Th e most fundamental of all questions is “What is eternal?” Th ree possible answers: nothing, something, or some One.
Th e fi rst three and last three chapters of the Bible create an incredible amount of controversy. Th e reason for that is simple — the answers to these questions hinge on the interpretation of the information in these chapters, that is, if they are seen as credible in any way.
If there is an eternity past, not a “nothing” but a something or some One, what lies ahead in the future, in the Ever-After, something or some One? Or maybe eternity, the Ever-After is intended to be inhabited by someones!
“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven … the tabernacle of God is with men
. . . and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.” (Revelation 21:2,3).
And they lived happily Ever-After.

MISSIONARY MINUTEHere are some Highlights from this week’s missionary. Read it. It will take you a minute.By Rev. Tom Stiles
Th ink Spring! I am thankful that winter is about done for this year. Spring is my favorite time of the year. It is exciting to see things coming back to life again.
Spring is also a busy time of year for our ministry. Legislative Day is Tuesday, March 19 and is the most important date in our ministry calendar. It’s the day that we invite Christians to join us at the State Capitol for the day. Th is year we have an exciting program planned: Melissa Ohdens, an abortion survivor, will “put a face” on our battle for life; Les Bernal from Stop Predatory Gambling will inform us of the dangers of authorizing more casinos in New York; Kenyon Cureton from Family Research Council will invite pastors to become a “Watchman on the Wall” and make a diff erence; and newly elected Senator Kathy Machione will inform us of her battle for the Second Amendment.
Spring is also the time of the New York Association of Christian Schools’ Fine Arts and Academic Competition. Th is year over 100
students participated in music, art, photography, spelling bees, preaching, story-telling, etc. Th e “main event” was
held on Friday, March 8 in Binghamton, NY.
Spring also is the time seniors apply for colleges and Federal Student Aid. Th ere are new guidelines that have created some confusion about qualifi cations at New York community colleges. I have talked with or corresponded with several Registrars, and have an appointment with offi cials at the New York Department of Education later this month. Please pray that we can resolve the confusion so these students can receive the aid available to other graduates.
Spring also means the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Th is year Tony Saxton, “my little brother” and I are going to do a week-end conference at Fellowship/Lighthouse Baptist Church in Unadilla, NY (Friday and Saturday night, Sunrise Service, Sunday School, and a.m. Service). Th e pastor of this church, Mike Amos, was promoted to glory on December 23 last year, after 32 years of service. We hope to be a blessing to his church.
Spring also means some teaching – I am teaching a class on Comparative Religions at North Star Bible Institute on Wednesday nights; and the American Government class at Northstar Christian Academy.
Of course, this Spring I will also be preaching and presenting our ministry in churches. Here is the schedule:
March 17 Bible Baptist Temple, Rochester, NY
March 24 Terrace Baptist Church-Binghamton, First Baptist Church, Port Crane, NY
March 29-31 Fellowship/Lighthouse Baptist Church, Unadilla, NY
April 7 Latham Bible Baptist Church, Latham, NY
April 14 Calvary Bible Church, Grieg, NY
April 21 Open
April 28 Greece Assembly of God, Rochester
Th ank you for your partnership in the ministry.

We are asking for a dollar or two to be included with your donation to help with the shipping of these items to Seattle to be placed in a container. You can drop your donations off at any of the classrooms. Th ey are competing against each other.
Jen Stanbro is a Jesus-loving wife, mom, musician, and teacher. She is grateful for every opportunity to bring glory, honor, and attention to the God of the universe through His gifts of music. She is currently raising funds to record her very fi rst full-length album, fi lled with music to glorify God and min-ister to the souls of every listener. She would be blessed beyond measure to
have you join her and follow along as God breathes life into His ministry. You can fi nd her at www.kickstarter.com and search Jen Stanbro, or at www.jenstanbro.com.
One of Our Own
SPORTS MINISTRYO U T R E A C H
G&T Spring and Summer SportsReaching Th is Generation Now!
• Th e National Alliance for Sports reports that 65% of kids in the US (around 20 million) register for various sports leagues EVERY YEAR!
• A Sports Illustrated survey says that 62% of adult males and 48% of adult females compete in sports WEEKLY!
Just imagine if those same per-centages of our community were playing with us! What outreach potential!
America loves sports and Sports Ministry will most defi nitely draw people – but only if they are invited. But it’s not just about the games - G&T Athletics is a great way to build relationships and to be a light to our community for Christ. We are asking our FBBC congregation to invite your un-churched friends, family, and neighbors. Invite just one to be a part of the ministry this
year. Help us get the word out. If you'd like to put a G&T Baseball sign in your yard to encourage participation, contact Rik Benson.
G&T Door Hangers are available at both welcome centers. Take as many as you need but only what you need.
