Location
Maldon is an attractive historic town, located at the mouth of the Blackwater Estuary in Essex. The population within Maldon is approximately 21,462.
The town is located approximately 10 miles east of Chelmsford, 20 miles south west of Colchester, 33 miles south east of Stanstead Airport and 50 miles north east of London. The A414 provides access to Chelmsford and thereafter Junction 7 of the M1. From Chelmsford the A12 links with Junction 28 of the M25. The railway station 5 miles distant at Witham provides a service to London Liverpool Street in approximately 45 minutes.
