Scale-up or production processes are the field of application for theLaboratory Pilot Fermenter LP351 with total volume 42, 50 or 75 litres.
The straightforward concept in designand construction results in a user-friendly and sturdy high-tech plant.The central in- and outlets for steam,water, air, and waste water, minimizeinstallation time and work.
The flexible installation of Bioengi-neering probes and accessories formedia addition, aeration, sampling,harvest, perfusion, foam destruction,CIP, etc. is guaranteed with thestandardized ports.
The modular design in combinationwith the variety of proven accessoriesenable the performance of biotech-nological processes with enzymes,microorganisms, fungi, algae, plant or animal cells.
Our equipment fulfils the requirednational guidelines and cGMP/FDA-regulations (including IQ and OQ documentation on request).
The stirrer units is driven by belt, thusreducing the fermenter height, sepa-rating the vessel from the motor, andoptimizing the bearing of the free-swinging shaft. The shaft is removedfrom the top and the bearing with the seals is easily disassembled fromthe bottom.
The fermenter is aerated through the Bioengineering Autosterile filter.Without any complicated peripheralconstructions, this filter is in-situsterilizable together with the fer-menter.
The power supply and the measure-ment and control units in the 19”measurement cabinet are separatedfrom the fermenter. The Bioengi-neering IFM controllers combine stateof the art digital technology with a modular set-up. Each measurementor control loop has its own separatemodule, thus enabling easy mainte-nance of single units or the adaptionof the fermenter measurement andcontrols according to actual require-ments. The BioLogics- or BioVisual-software covers all data logging andvisualization requirements. On requestother software systems are available.
