What aspects of your work could be improved on and why?

WHAT ASPECTS OF YOUR WORK COULD BE IMPROVED

ON AND WHY?

FRONT COVER

To improve the front cover, I would make the cover lines bold, so they stand out more and are easy to read from a distance. I would also choose a better font for the main cover line so it is easier to read, and attracts more of an audience. To make more people look at it, I would make the masthead in capitals and bold. I would possibly make the barcode slightly smaller and have a website written next to it, as there would normally be one there. I would also make the word ‘free’ even more visible, so students would be even more attracted to it.

CONTENTS PAGE

To improve the contents page, I would make it more detailed and have a coloured background. I think it is too simplistic because there are only two photos on it, and the layout is very formal. I also think the lines on the left are too close to the page numbers and content, which might effect how people read it. I think I should have put more photos on the contents page, to entice people even more into wanting to read it, rather than just two photos. With the text, I should have moved the content up slightly so it is closer to the titles. The titles look like they are just sitting there, floating around for no reason.
