Develop a research institution that facilitates education and preservation practices, while taking into consideration the oil pollution, airport safety requirements, and hundred-year flood plain that heavily restrict the site.

Thesis

Create a destination that preserves the ecological character and showcases the history of the site, while implementing dynamic educational and non-impact recreational components that connect to the broader community.
