ON MY PARENTS’WEDDING DAY SOMETIME IN1948

THEY FIRST MET WHILE STUDYING AT CHULALONGKORN UNIVERSITY TOGETHER

A FEW YEARS AFTER THEIR MARRIAGE……………

I WAS BORN ON SATURDAY,OCTOBER2,1954.I HAVE 2 OLDER SISTERS

We lived in Thonburi.

I fell in love with musicwhen I wasvery young.

I participated in all Kinds of activitiesAt school.I was in

Grade 2 at ChantornVithaya school.

• I was talkative

• And sometimes

• Too playful

• But I did ok

.

My dad had a coconut farmthere

I passed the entrance exam to

study at Vachiravud college in

grade5

I also learned to play musicalinstruments like the

guitar,melodica&accordian.

I attended Rachativas school.Look atthe band long time ago.New year party.

Now I was a teenager.crazy about Japanese

Idols. look at the radio! It was always

By my side

I graduated fromRamkhamhaeng

UniversityEnglish major

They offered me a full scholarship.

• Study for

• My master’s

• Degree at

• Mahidol

• university

At the same time,Brigham YoungUniversity accepted my application

to study for my M A there too

That was the end of part 1 of my life

B Y U is in UtahIt snows 8 months

a year.This is Sundance.People come to ski here.

I had a part-time job.I was a Thai instructor at theMissionary training center.

They called me Elder Tuang.

I also traveled to many places

We were not really drunk!

This is my first group of international students.I did my student teaching at Provo highschool

During my studies,I worked at the university, teaching ESL .

I also kept working at the MTC.I wrotea textbook for them too.I worked there

for six years.

One of my many groups of students at the E L C.There were 2 Thai students.They had studied

AT ABAC !

Something went wrong…Let’s look at the bright side

I’ve got to return to Thailand after 8 long yrs.

My life’s chapter 3 was about to begin.
