If you’re not a builder, hire a people- and process- manager who is. Work

together on the blueprint, then hand it off for detailed implementation. GET

OUT OF THE WAY!

Operational thinkers and doers are gold.

Set Direction Once A Year (ish)

Tweak here and there as you go, review quarterly, but give a clear direction and

roadmap that non-visionaries (which will be most of your employees) can

follow.

Innovative thinking without self-control = instability.

Leverage What You Have

Sometimes, your best new ideas are modest variations of your current

offerings. Don’t always be looking for greener grass on the other side.
