The Henley Youth Festival

My Aim;

My aim is to produce a promotion video of the Henley Youth Festival. The Henley youth festival takes part every year as it grows in masses of it’s participants and fans. I would like my promotional video to make people more aware what goes on during this popular fun event, and hopefully encourage many people to join in the upcoming years!!

Original brief

What will make you want to participate in the Henley Youth Festival 2012?

During the length of my video I would like to share previous footage taken from the event several years ago. (archive footage)I hope my video will inspire many different people to participate in the local event.

• The objective of this video is to show awareness to people who may not know this type of event occurs once a year.

• Also to promote that types of things you can do outside of education e.g. sports teams , drama classes.

responsibilities

Time managementKeeping track of time so that I can balance work out with other subjects. Producing a timetable so I can work to the deadlines. I will need to plan where I film the location and set. I will need to provide props and equipment (if needed) and be well organised.

Why I chose to produce a promotion video?

• I’m currently studying a Btec media course, it seemed relevant. • Gaining experience – • (editing) (camera techniques) • I also have a personal interest in advertising, it’s something I would

definitely like to peruse as a career. • Everything I needed to film was local, walking distance.
