This is referred to as the “Light Touch” and is the minimum level approach which should be applied to any Project.

In response to comments from Directorates however, there was a need to provide a version of this CPMM which is suitable for use on everyday Projects but still provide the discipline fundamentals of Project Management.

Currently, a “full blown” Corporate Programme/Project Management Methodology (CPMM) is available/in use on the Strategic Projects of the Council.

• Allows a standard approach to Project Management to be available for all Council Projects.

• Should easily fit in or be compatible with any current Project Management techniques in place within directorates

• Designed to require the minimum amount of paperwork.• Conforms with recommendations from Pricewaterhouse Cooper audit in terms of driving Project Management further into our organisation.
