Programme Format

• Three and a ½ days with plenary sessions, key notes, group assignments, knowledge fair, and optional/parallel activities

• Methodology: Turin Learning Approach, use of web 2.0 and videoconferencing, with emphasis on experiential learning to share knowledge and strengthen partnerships

Participatory Approach

Key NotesJan Vandermoortele For 30 years with the United Nations, he was UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator to Pakistan from 2005-08. He was closely involved with the creation of the MDGs and his current focus relates to the urgency to diminish donorship by switching development debate from 'money changing hands' to 'ideas changing minds'.
