1. Creating a Company specific challenge

• When creating the challenge, instead of selecting “Anyone” can participate, select “Any person with the same e-mail domain as this user”

• Remember to use your work e-mail address when you register

4

2. Idea Challenge is created…

• and is visible only to users with the user ID associated with the e-mail from that domain

• Example: only users with the email address from xxx@ibm.com can see the challenge

5

3. Send the challenge private URL to your participants

Team -

Our Event mobile app, and our survey mobile app have gotten rave reviews from our enterprise customers. Our challenge is now to find the next mobile app, to continue our series...looking for your ideas.

The best idea will be rewarded with an IPad 3, so please make sure that you give your best idea. We've partnered with Twoor.com, a platform that will help us with the idea submission, the comments on the ideas, and the ranking of the idea.

What is the next mobile app that we should design, develop and launch?

Please go to https://twoor.com/challenge/detail/id/xxx, create a user ID using your work e-mail (@work.com), and enter your best idea.

• Offering a reward for the best idea is a common Best Practice

• More importantly, ensure that your team knows that the Sponsor will act on the top ideas

6

Idea Challenge Visible to the Employees

• Employees signing in Twoor platform with the work e-mail will see their Company Challenge, and can start contributing ideas or comments

• We have a special technology that prevents users to become “too creative, too quickly” – some users will see that they cannot contribute anymore that day

• Important - No other users can see that challenge, unless they sign in with that e-mail domain

7

2. How it works- Invite Challenge participants

• Very important – who is the Sponsor?

• Sponsor needs to be visible

– Ideas will be acted upon

– The sponsor will ensure funding for the top ideas

• Who are the participants – Public challenge (everyone can

participate)

– Only employees with a certain e-mail address format can attend (abc@ibm.com)

– A private group, entered as a set of e-mail addresses

4. Challenge participants submit ideas

• Participants submit their own ideas, via a simple form

• Or comment on others’ ideas

• Participants can “subscribe” to challenges and ideas

• Similar / Associated ideas are shown to participants, to further increase participation and ideation

10

5. Participants rate ideas, and add to them

• Participants can rate ideas (Likes, Potential Value, Estimated Cost)

• Participants comment on ideas

• Over time, best ideas surface to the top
