Distinguishing Characteristics: Socially committed and experienced
artists-facilitators from within the communities are trained in the
methodology. Specific issues of concern to community are identified
and a sequence of theatre episodes based on these issues are
designed Each theatre episode stimulates a conversation in which
community members talk about the issue.
