Goals in Google Analytics tell you:
• When a goal is achieved (new donor).
• Behavior of visitors who convert. * Goals usually require a thank you page for each type of conversion.

3) Setting up your first goal
1. Sign in to Google Analytics.
2. Click the Admin tab and navigate to your account.
3. In the VIEW column, click Goals.

1. In the VIEW column, click “Custom Alerts”.
2. Create New Alert.
3. Name your alert and select your goal under “Alert me when”
