• Data is used to gauge progress toward goals and set goals for future.

Why do we have to take it?

• All applications for state funded technology grants require a completed Texas STaR Chart.

• No Child Left Behind states that all teachers should be technology literate and integrate technology across the curriculum.

• All students should be technology literate by the time they leave the eighth grade.
