Experience Education

“This can be way more than a boring résumé.”

This user starts using their full profile, including picture, summary, recommendations, and other sections. This is somewhere that a hiring manager can learn more about you. It helps you stand out from the crowd.

Picture Recommendations Summary

“I can keep track of my professional relationships.”

A user in this stage user LinkedIn as a place to track connections and message those more distant connections. They visit LinkedIn a few times a month.

Connections People you may know Messages Updates

“People who could bring me value can find me on LinkedIn.”

This user creates a keyword rich profile, lists skills, participates in answers and groups. Opportunities come to them (business relationships, possible jobs).
