lightweight option than the traditional buoyant lifejacket. They are a universal size, one size fits all, and usually have more flotation (20-35 pounds) than an inherently buoyant life jacket (typical is 15.5 pounds) When deflated they are compact and appear to resemble a big set of suspenders.
