DESCRIPTIVE EXAMPLES

Handout

EXAMPLEMy trip to Quebec was very memorablebecause the city seemed very European. One small street was particularly quaintand interesting. When I approached thestreet, I saw a set of narrow, stone stairswinding down to small boutiques below. Onthe right of the stairs, there were small glasstables at a café with red plastic chairs for thecustomers. This seemed very Europeansince the tables and chairs were very closetogether as they are in European restaurants.…….Overall, I will remember the feeling that I had while visiting Quebec for a long timesince I felt as though I experienced a littlepiece of Europe while visiting the city.
