July 26, 2013. A breathtaking gathering of North Koreans — more than 100,000 people are estimated to be involved in the performance — displayed discipline and dedication to their nation at the Arirang Mass Games, the country’s largest annual celebration of performing arts and gymnastics. Pyongyang’s May Day Stadium, said to be world’s largest stadium, holding 150,000 people, was the scene for the for the stunning performances, timed to coincide with celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the end of the 1950-53 Korean War.
