“I specifically remember

giving Elaine a "makeover"

when we clearly knew

sooooo much about make

up. Slathered some bright

red lipstick on her and

enough blush to sink a

battleship. And we thought

we were being nice!”

ANGELA VISSCHERCOUSIN

“I loved that she didn’t give

a shit about what anybody

thought of her and she

would just do whatever she

wanted to do if she could.”

Elaine and Friends

MEAGHAN CAREYFAMILY

“I remember Anna loving her - Anna and her

were sitting next to Elaine on some kitchen

chairs talking about fashion in Paris - and it

was time to eat and Anna didn't want to eat

because she didn't want to lose her seat next

to Elaine. And of course the memory of Alicia,

me Mike, Kimber, Elaine and Nolan - at

Grandpa's 80th - Elaine had those awesome

pink high lights in her beautiful real blond

hair and she held Nolan on her lap and it was

like this perfect light lit up between them -

she gazed at him with such amazement and

love - I've never seen my son look at anyone

like that since. My kids loved her so much.

She just had that special something - and it's

too bad that that something is so great it can't

be put into words - and I feel this way even

after only seeing her a couple of times

“When I was there last

summer playing games and

talking with her and

laughing with her.”

MICHELLE CEDRONE

FAMILY FRIEND

“My favorite memory of

Elaine was when she came

over to have pizza with me

and my two children. Elaine

reminded me to view the

world through the eyes of

my 3 year old. I will never

forget that.”

CASSIE WOLFFBUD CARLSON

ACADEMYMy favorite memory of Elaine was when I finally

met her working for Bud Carlson Academy. She

was very shy yet had a phenomenal style to her

clothing. She would always make an effort to seek

me out in the computer lab to say hi and

sometimes even bitch about something. One day I

caught her smoking butts and gave her a heart to

heart lecture and she just giggled and said "don't

tell my mom or sister" she also thanked me for

worrying about her health. Finally, the greatest

memory of all was seeing her walk across the

stage at the Rochester opera house to get her

diploma!!! I knew it was a huge accomplishment

for her. All her friends were sooo proud of her

especially Destiny Johnson, a dear student of mine

who was close to her and Dillion.

DANA DAVISFAMILY FRIEND

“The day we were are the

China Palace with Phil. She

always had such an energy.”

Bud Carlson Academy

MEGHAN WOLFFFAMILY FRIEND

“When we went to Hampton

beach after the tornados in

2008 and the waves were

really huge!”

GRACE BETTENDORFCHILDHOOD

FRIEND

“My favorite memory is

playing "witches" at your old

house, using big branches as

brooms and making

"potions". Also, going to the

field at recess and playing

wedding in elementary.”

PAM SCHWARZFAMILY FRIEND

TYLER, MINNESOTA

“She was such a wonderful person.

Her & Keshia use to take Karen &

my cell phones all the time & the

pic I sent u shows what little ....

they where. They used to plots

against us. It was like they thought

the same and knew what the other

was going to say. They became

friends in an instant. I am so glad

that I got to be a blink in her life.”

AMANDA TODDCOUSIN

“I was watching The Little

Mermaid with her and she

said that her favorite part

about the movie was that

Ariel knew she was going to

be with Eric. She always

work that love charm around

her neck and talked about

her wedding. She just never

stopped believing in love.”

CINDY SCOTT-HARTER

CHILDHOOD FRIEND

“There's a lot of memories I have with

Elaine. Slumber parties and having ginger

ale, ghost stories with me her and Jim,

swimming in the pond, my favorite is

probably when her, Grace, Ashley, and I

would get together and write songs and

sing them. One of them was flowers on

the wall.

Flowers flowers on the wall.

Look at those pretty waterfalls.

flowers flowers in the spring.

flowers flowers in the sping.

I was in the fields with you.

Running with you.

Laughing with you.”

ELAINE’S FAMOUS

WIGS

MICHAEL MORSECOUSIN

“Her joy holding little Nolan

for the first time! I also like

pictures of her and Jim when

they were really young with

us at the lake I think she's

wearing little red shorts and

has a kool aid mustache.”
