Washburn Rural High School Artists Selected to Exhibit in Prestigious 2016 Scholastic Art Exhibition
Congratulations to the following students for having their artwork accepted into the 2016 Regional Scholastic Art Show in Wichita.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the nation's longest-running, most prestigious educational initiative supporting student
achievement in the visual and literary arts. This year, 18 students will represent Washburn Rural with a total of 39 works in the show.
The exhibit opens January 29th and will close on March 6th. Our Gold Key winners will have their work juried for possible inclusion
into the National Scholastic Award Exhibition held in New York City later this year. Winners will be honored at the award ceremony held at the
Wichita Center for the Arts on Sunday, March 6th.
