No matter who you are, where you have come from or what you aspire to be, time moves at the same velocity: forward, at 60 seconds a minute, and 60 minutes per hour. Try as we might, we have yet to create a way around any of this. Once it has been spent, there are no refunds. Nothing is promised for anyone at all in the future.
We have the moment, and that is all we have for sure......and it’s what we choose to do in those moments that can bring the most meaning to life.
Woodloch Resort spans over 135 acres large and is nestled on the shore of a private lake. Every day, there are over 30 scheduled activities and amenities at your disposal. Accommodations, meals, and a new act on our stage every night...
We are a passionate bunch- we LOVE what we do. In fact, in 2015, TripAdvisor named Woodloch as “The #1 Hotel for Families in America.” But what we really enjoy is hosting happy people, looking to get away for just a bit of fun.
Woodloch is a place where family and friends gather for quality time together. It might be for a few hours over a delicious meal. It may be for a weekend escape to enjoy games in freshly fallen mountain snow. Or it might be for an entire week in the middle of summer. Whatever the case is, your time here is important.
Ideally, everyone who passes through our doors utilizes every second they share with us, from pulling into our lots to seeing our signs in the rearview mirror. Leave the worries back home and focus on what is REALLY important.
The “little moments” that collectively make life worth living are tucked away every corner.
You just need to be in the right place, at the right time, to seize them.
The real magic of a Woodloch getaway comes in between all of the things you see on paper...
...absorbing that moment of absolute tranquility as you enjoy a paddleboat ride with your daughter.
...escaping reality and imagining life as a formula one racer as you zoom past your cousin in a Go Cart.
...laughing uncontrollably as your team valiantly attempts to scale our frosted slopes with family sized snow tubes. ...you’ll get the idea.
...dressing Grandpa up as a snow man (complete with a button nose) to gain just enough points to claim the gold medal with our Scavenger Hunt.
Woodloch has been a family-owned business since opening in 1958. The core principle of togetherness and smiling with good friends has been the cornerstone to all of our success.
As a matter of fact, it is our sincere hope that our guests soon start to feel like they are our family, spending a little bit of time in our home.
