Whether Kur-haus, Hessian state theatre or impressive mansions - presentable buildings are forming the face of the city. Here in the “City of hot springs” there is plenty to tell about the thermal water, the fountains and Wiesbaden as world spa city of the 19th century. The walking tour leads – among other sites – to the Schlossplatz with old and new city hall, to the market church as highest building of the city and to the former castle of the dukes of Nassau, nowadays the seat of the Hessian parliament.
