Bali is the biggest tourist draw of the area. The island is world famous

for its arts, dance and music as well as its sculpture, metalworking,

painting and leather. Every year Bali plays host to the Indonesian

International Film Festival. The island of Bali is located within the

Coral Triangle, a part of the world famed for its huge marine life

Jeladi Wilis

This is a simple, gentle dive. It starts at three metres, sloping to twenty.

The current can be strong and so diving at slack tide is advisable.

Diving with an experience guide is, as always, a must. Visibility ranges

from five to fifteen metres. There are some interesting corals as well as

stingrays, octopi, scorpion fish and nudibranches.

Channel Point

This location is ideal for dive training making it a very popular diving

location. As the name would suggest, this dive site is situated in a

channel. Coral reefs follow the channel edge which slopes down to a

large, sandy seabed. This location is suitable for novices as well as

those who are participating in a refresher course.

Penjor Reef

The Penjor Reef dive site is just a few minutes' boat ride from Sanur. It

is rated as one of the best dive sites in all of Bali. There is an abundance

in terms of quantity and diversity of mature coral and marine life.

Though visibility can be limited, because there is such a high volume of

marine life this location makes for some stunning dives.
