These traveling instructions contain comprehensive information on how to use Renault Eurodrive. The information contained in the booklet is also available online at www.renaultusa.com.

CAuTIOn!n The regulations, highway codes

and procedures in the event of an accident or damage may differ from one country to another. You are responsible for your travel in Europe. Therefore, remember to refer to the specific regulations that apply in each country.

PICKING UP YOUR CAR

BEFORE YOU GET THERETo make the most of your stay in Europe with nothing to worry about, do not forget the first step in your Travel Booklet: making advance reservations for the exclusive services of our First Class partners in the Eurodrive First program (See page 9).

To ensure you don’t forget anything, we have one other piece of advice: refer to the “What to do before you leave for Europe” checklist, on page 14.

WHEN YOU GET THEREPlease remember that, in order to get your vehicle delivered in time, your delivery center must have your flight or train* number.If you do not have a flight/train* number and did not provide a walk-in time when placing your reservation then you must contact your delivery center for an appointment at least 3 business days before the scheduled delivery date.

PICK-UP PROCEDURE

Please present:n your passport (or identity card),n a copy of your Renault Eurodrive contract.Your spouse, domestic partner or a family member may also pick up the car and drive it, provided they present an authorization document with your signature.Your domestic partner must, in addition to this authorization document, present a certificate proving your partnership or a sworn statement of partnership with your signature.

You will be presented with several items:n vehicle registration papers,n a European accident report standard form with instructions,n an insurance certificate,n an insurance assistance booklet,n two keys (or cards) for the vehicle,n a safety kit (fluorescent vest + and warning triangle).

IMPORTANT

For safety reasons, the cars are delivered with just enough fuel necessary to reach the nearest gas station (usually about one gallon).

CAUTION!These items are to be returned with your vehicle. You will be billed for any missing items.

CAUTION!The fuel type to be used with your vehicle is marked inside the fuel cap: “GO” means diesel, “ES” means gasoline/petrol.

Eurodrive is not responsible for any cost related to you running out of fuel.

IMPORTANT

Right before or during your trip if your flight, train* or arrival time changes, please contact your pick-up center as early as possible so that they can prepare for your new arrival schedule. For all other changes please contact us by email at [email protected] or call (888) 532-1221 during our regular business hours.

Always refer to the information about your pick-up center in the “Pick-up and drop-off centers” sections on pages 12-13, or the detailed information sheet for your delivery center that you received from your Eurodrive agent.

The delivery center representative will wait for you for 30 minutes after the agreed walk-in time and for 1 hour after your flight/train* arrival time.

Please make sure that you call your delivery center within one hour of your flight or train* arrival to make sure they know you have arrived and tell them when you will be ready for your pick-up.

* Where a train station pick-up is available.

IMPORTANT

Drivers must be at least 18 years old and possess a driver’s license valid for use in the country or countries they intend to visit.

CLAIMS

To benefit from your insurance and assistance coverage you must always report the incident:n either with an accident report with a third party

(check the insurance policy number of the third party and make sure he/she signs the document),

n or a full declaration within 24 hours (giving a detailed explanation of the incident circumstances, including the vehicle registration number, date, location, and damage noted on the vehicle).

Cases of vandalism or theft, must be reported to the police and the original report must be sent to GSAE. The document must be faxed to the following number: +33 (0)1 76 89 00 47. Without a declaration, the insurance company will not pay any indemnity. The same applies to damages or incidents affecting rental vehicles provided after the incident.

IN THE EVENT OF INCIDENTS

6 If the vehicle is left in a Renault or Dacia garage, always leave the registration documents inside the vehicle.

n If your Renault Eurodrive vehicle needs to be temporarily replaced by a regular car rental, please be aware of the following:

- You will be required to present a credit card for the imprint, this procedure is standard with car rentals.

- Do not accept additional insurance coverage that may be offered by the car rental agent. - Please return your rental at the car rental lot with a full tank of gas and NOT at a Renault Eurodrive center.

INSURANCE / ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

EXCLUSIONSn The Eurodrive contract does not cover impound costs, fuel

leaking, mechanical incidents caused by vehicle misuse, mechanical incidents caused by towing, snow tires and chains. neither does it cover fines or parking tickets, telephone, restaurant/bar, fuel or toll expenses, vehicle servicing costs, or expenses that the beneficiary was expected to pay as part of the planned stay in the place of the incident (e.g. accommodation), or in cases of force majeure (strikes, riots or “acts of god”, etc.).

n The contract does not cover events resulting from participation in sport competitions, bets and matches.

n In the event of theft, compensation is payable only for stolen items mentioned in the police report, and only on presentation of the original invoices or receipts.

n Also, in cases of theft, no compensation is payable for expenditure incurred in replacing identity papers, boxes and bags left on the roof or any items inside such containers.

n Limitations apply. See the Renault Eurodrive general terms and conditions for more details.

USEFUL INFOn You are no longer insured after the

expiration date of your insurance certificate, and if you drive in a country not mentioned in the list above.

n never leave the registration documents and the spare keys in a parked vehicle.

CAUTION!Remember Renault Eurodrive insurance and assistance does not cover Kosovo and the Turkish part of Cyprus.

VERY IMPORTANT!Should any of the incidents described above occur, you MuST call Renault Assistance at +33 (0)1 49 65 24 04 BEFORE taking any action. Even if you are at a Renault repair shop, Renault Assistance must be notified first. Renault Assistance will make the final determination on what is and what is not reimbursable.

EXTENDING YOUR CONTRACT

You may extend the length of your contract following the delivery of your vehicle, within the limits of the expiration date of the vehicle’s registration certificate. CHANGING YOUR CONTRACT

You have 30 calendar days before your delivery date to change your Renault Eurodrive contract at no cost or cancel your contract for a $50 fee.

IMPORTANT

If feasable the following changes to your contract may be charged $500 if requested in less than 30 days before your pick-up date:- vehicle change- pick-up location change- name/contract holder change- order cancellation

RETURNING YOUR CAR

DROP-OFF PROCEDURES

Customers are required to call their return center three business days before the scheduled drop-off date.All the information you need will be supplied during this call. You will be expected no later than 30 minutes after the arranged time.

If you need to change the drop-off time:Let your return center know as soon as possible about any change in drop-off times, so that your local attendant can arrange the drop-off.

If you need to change the drop-off location:To return your car to a different center from the one initially selected, contact the center of your choice no later than three business days before return date to make an appointment (see details of the centers on pages 12 to 13).When returning your car outside of France at a different location than stated on the contract, additional fees will apply.

If you need to return your vehicle early:

n The first 21 days are never refundable.n A deductible of 10 days will be applied to the number

of unused days for which you may claim a refund.

n Please contact your agent for more details.

When returning your vehicle please make sure you take all your personal belongings as Renault won’t be responsible for any items left behind.

Inform your delivery center of your flight or train* number.

If you do not have a flight/train* number, make an appointment with your delivery center (at least three business days before the pick-up date shown on your order form).

Carefully read the “user’s Guide” in this travel booklet (pp. 4-11), which provides all the necessary information, from pick-up to drop-off.

Bring a copy of your Renault Eurodrive contract.

Bring this travel booklet.

Bring authorization document where applicable (see p. 5).

Before you leave for Europe:

Make sure you have not left any personal belongings in the vehicle.Return:

both of the vehicle’s keys or cards,

the registration documents,

the warranty booklet and the driver’s handbook,

the safety kit (reflective jackets and red triangle),

the SD card for the GPS, if so equipped

the GPS remote control, if any

the fully completed European accident report, if you have had an accident.
