As the magic of the Christmas season descends upon the Algarve, Penina Hotel and Golf Resort is preparing to make festivities truly special. And, what better place to celebrate than in a place famed for its beautiful sunsets and wonderfully mild weather? Indeed, Christmas and New Year in the Algarve is a memorable experience, and at this year at Penina we will be celebrating in style.

Christmas Feasts in a Charming Portuguese SettingA series of beautifully prepared Christmas feasts are first on the agenda, with our culinary team working towards the creation of many exquisite dishes. On Christmas Eve, there will be a glitzy dinner at our Le Grill Restaurant. This event will be accompanied by Champagne and plenty of festive spirit from all, who will be thoroughly looking forward to onset of the big day. Then, on the 25th of December, we will be holding a traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings at Le Grill, while in the evening there will be a very indulgent buffet - the perfect opportunity to socialise and celebrate with friends and family.Fine Dining, Champagne and Dancing to Welcome the New YearNext, of course, will be New Year's Eve and all the merriment and excitement that comes with it. On the 31st December, we will begin by toasting to good health with a specially created New Year's Eve cocktail in the Blue Lounge. Then, there will be a grand Gala Dinner at Le Grill, with extraordinary live music and the opportunity to dance the night away.On the 1st January 2014, a delightful brunch will be served at Sagres. This will be available right up until 4pm, so even if you celebrated into the small hours, you will have a chance to dine once again on some very special cuisine.
