Aer breakfast drive to Lamayuru AKA Moonland The legend says “A Buddhist lama by the name of Yuru was looking for a place to set up his monastery. When he reached this spectacular spot, he paused and said, ‘It’ll be here, my monastery.’ But at that me the enre place was submerged under water, with just a few craggy peaks floang above it like glaciers. Lama Yuru, invoking his immense spiritual power, ordered the waters to recede and make place for his monastery.” The moonscape in Lamayuru looks exactly as if a massive river that was flowing through these mountains receded in a hurry, leaving behind unbehind uncanny forms of solidified silt.

Aer breakfast departure for Pangong Tso (Lake) via Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 – Third Highest Pass of the world) Pangong Tso at an altude of 14,500 is 4-5 kms wide and over 135 kms long, about two-third of which lies on the other side of the Indo-China LAC (Line of Actual Control). Pangong Tso was featured in the last scenes of the 2010 movie, 3 Idiots. Aer the success of the movie, this beauful natural locaon has aracted more tourists from all oover the world.

On the way to Pangong Tso we visit:Shey PalaceThiksey Monastery On arrival checkin at the camp and enjoy the clearest skies and an exhilarang view of the stars at night.

Aer breakfast we start our journey back to Leh from Pangong Tso (Lake) On the way back, a visit to Hemis Monastery the Head Monastery in Ladakh region Overnight stay in Leh

Aer breakfast drive to KhardungLa (80 kms round trip).

Khardung La is widely, but incorrectly, believed to be the world's highest motorable pass. However it is the highest mountain pass located in the Ladakh region.

On the drive back from the pass, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the Indus Valley and the endless peaks of the Zanskar range.
