This is the light trek, and not challenging. You can both enjoy the Mountain View and local daily life in Pha Pon Golden Mountain. Lets decide to start this trip organized by GAT travel. </p><p>Tour Outline: Day 1: Luang Prabang - Pak Chaek Village - Huay Thoum Village - Yha Nang Village (L, D) </p><p>Day 2: Yha Nang Village - Pha Pon (the Golden Mountain Range) - Had Huay Village - Luang Prabang (B, L) </p><p>Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Luang Prabang - Pak Chaek Village - Huay Thoum Village - Yha Nang Village (L, D) </p><p>We pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 AM then drive up north for about 1.5 hour to reach Ban Pak Chaek Village where we start the trek. We cross the Ou River by fishing boat then walk past the scenic village of Pak Chaek. We trek along the valley of beautiful landscape to reach Yha Nang Village where we stay for the night in local house. </p><p>Day 2: Yha Nang Village - Pha Pon (the Golden Mountain Range) - Had Huay Village - Luang Prabang (B, L) </p><p>After breakfast, we walk past an area where Hmong people are paining gold and see the Pha Pon Golden Mountain. We trek to the top of the mountain that offers a great view and stop for local picnic lunch. We continue the trek from Pha Pon Area to Ban Hat Huay Village of Khmu ethnic minority. From here, we return to Luang Prabang. In big towns we will enjoy Laotian cuisine in fine restaurants. Once we travel away from big towns, the emphasis will be on healthy and nutritious fresh local produce. Please inform us at the time of booking if you have any special dietary requirement. </p><p>Home-stay </p><p>Home-stay in villages is basic in term of bedding condition and toilet. We will stay overnight in the traditional house of the locals. We will be provided with mattress, clean sheet, pillows and mosquito nets. Toilet could be some steps away from the house. </p><p>Tour guide </p><p>The tour will be guided by our local tour guides who are experienced in guiding adventure tours. They have been carefully trained in their specialized field. They are also fully licensed in tour guiding by the government. In addition, they have been trained in first-aid and they know how to deal with difficult situations. You will have a great time traveling with them. </p><p>The trekking day </p><p>A typical trekking day starts at about 8.00 am or 8.30 am after breakfast. Lunch times can vary depending on the distance. We aim to reach the next overnight stop by 4.30 pm or 5.00 pm.
