•In addition to its on-site programming, Camp Waziyatah offers a variety of trips out of camp through its Adventure Bound program. These trips typically center on activities like hiking, rock climbing, and whitewater rafting. The Camp Waziyatah Adventure Bound program offers campers a unique opportunity to try something new and different, or something that may be outside their comfort zone.

•When trying high adventure activities like rock climbing, young campers often learn to overcome their fears and support one another as they literally achieve new heights. Throughout these experiences, counselors ensure that the environment remains safe and encouraging and that campers face each new challenge with a positive attitude.

•New activities not only expand campers' horizons, but also present opportunities for mental and emotional growth. Additionally, the Adventure Bound program incorporates lessons on outdoor living and the "leave no trace" philosophy. Through this outdoor-oriented curriculum, campers learn to be better stewards of the environment and to enjoy their natural surroundings with more comfort and ease.
