The local currency is the Egyptian Pound (LE) converting to approx. 9.4 (LE) to GBP 1 and approximately 6 (LE) to Euro 1.
There are several ATMs in Dahab where you can obtain currency using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro etc.,It is extremely important to drink lots of water whilst you are here in Dahab.
