14 May  Arrival in Kathmandu  

Arrival at KTM ( MI 0412 / 1205 hrs). Meet, assist and transfer to hotel. Kathmandu is unique and fascinating capital of Nepal, a spiritual land isolated by the high Himalayas. 

Check In to hotel. Rest for about 2 hrs.  

Late afternoon : visit Boudhanath Stupa, to be part of the Lord Buddha’s Birthday                           celebrations. Boudhanath is one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world.                       Boudhanath has all seeing eyes of Buddha and an UNESCO Heritage site.   Overnight at hotel Himalaya or similar in Kathmandu . www.himalayahotel.com.np  

15 May  Kathmandu 

Morning: Kathmandu sightseeing tour visiting the Durbar square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residential quarter, Mahadev and Parvati temple, Machhender Bahl­Holy place for the Buddhists and Hindus, temple house of Kumari, the living goddess.   

  Afternoon: visit Bhaktapur city. Bhaktapur means: "The city of devotees" which                     was founded in the 9th century and is shaped like a conch shell. Highlights:                           Durbar square the palace with 55 windows, Nyatapola temple, pottery square.  

 Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu 

16 May  Kathmandu / Chitwan   

After breakfast drive to Chitwan ( 165 km /6 hrs).  Check in to Jungle Lodge.   

Visit the Tharu village, Ethnic tribal people living in the jungle in the past.   

Overnight at lodge in Chitwan (Barahi Jungle Lodge or similar).  

    

17 May  Chitwan :  

Morning : Jungle activities in Chitwan National Park including Elephant Safari, Canoeing 

Afternoon : Interaction and Training to the local Lodge operators / Naturalists.  

Overnight at lodge in Chitwan (Barahi Jungle Lodge or similar).  

18 May  Chitwan  / Pokhara  

Drive to Pokhara ( 175 km / 5.5hrs).

19 May  Pokhara  

AM : Excursion to Sarankot that offers great view of Mt. Fish Tail and other Annapurna range of mountains ( subject to clear weather). And local sightseeing visiting local attractions.  

PM : Day for interaction and workshop. Overnight at hotel  in Pokhara.  

20 May  Pokhara / Kathmandu ( Flight)  

Morning : Free time.  Fly Pokhara / Kathmandu by Buddha Air ( 1130/1200hrs). Transfer to hotel.  Free time.  Overnight at hotel Hyatt in Kathmandu . www.kathmandu.regency.hyatt.com 

21 May  Kathmandu Day for workshop sessions for operating sectors.  Overnight at hotel Hyatt in Kathmandu .  

22 May  Kathmandu  

Workshop in US embassy and Round table interaction with the Policy makers and leaders from Tourism industry.  

Overnight at hotel Hyatt in Kathmandu .  

23 May  Departure transfer  

Departure transfer to connect the return flight ( 1305 hrs)
