The Design

Before you go on and create your own frosted window art, first, you need to have a design. Your design can be practically anything you want. Usually, people go for the following designs

And of course, since you're going to make your design, you can go beyond the commion designs and come up with your own design. It will depend on what you want it for, too. The Tester

This step isn't required but it is definitely recommended. Prepare a sheet of glass so that you can test your frosting on. This way, you don't need to create costly glass or window replacements if you are not happy with your frosting work. Having a tester will also be helpful for you to determine if you should make any changes in your design.Film

If you use frosted window film, you need to draw first your design on the film. If you are satisfied with the design, then you can cut it out. Just take your time when you cut out your design to avoid making mistakes.

And remember that some of the films will have different instructions that you should follow but this is the general idea.

Spray

If you don't think WINDOW FROSTING films are for you, you can opt to use a window frosting spray instead. The only downside is that it's a challenge to be able to distribute the product evenly through the entire glass.

Then cut out a stencil of your design on a thick material. Once you're happy with the look of things, apply it onto the glass window and spray! Then wait it to dry before you touch it again.
