Stage 1

The first stage included my research and planning where I did a lot of research into different magazines to get an idea about what I should base my magazine on. This helped me understand the conventions of existing magazines.

full understanding of what I need to reach my specfic target audience.

Stage 2

The second stage was my preliminary task which consisted of me doing a flat plan of my school magazine. The reason this was done was for me to get an understanding of the conventions a magazine holds , this would also help me when it comes to me making my final production (music magazine)

About my preliminary task

My preliminary task was done as a school magazine that would help me learn what a magazine should look like and what it should consist of. Through doing this I learnt about lures , strap lines , masthead and font and colour design. Which helped me understand what needs to be done in my music magazine.

Stage 3

The third and final main stage of my production was the main production.

This was my music magazine. All that I learnt during my work through my preliminary task was put into place when I was doing my main task. I included all the things such as a lure , strap line and masthead to finalise my finishing product.

About my Main production

My main production was done through many stages , it was all about putting what you learnt through the preliminary task into your main task.

I used many programmes to help me with my final production which were ;

Adobe Photoshop and Pages. These programs helped finalise my main

task.
