Conclusion

Creation of a National Content Consortium of digital repository could be of immense help to facilitate access to the nation’s heritage resources globally,

Preserve and develop the nation's digital resources, and encourage sharing and exchange of information among libraries, archives, museums and heritage organizations in Iran.

The programme would avoid duplication of efforts in digitization, develop metadata standards, and ensure sustainability of the nations resources.
