Biography

Susan Kare was born in Ithaca, New York in 1954. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College and received MA and Ph.D. degrees from New York University. An avid surfer and skier. She lives in California with her husband three sons, and Australian Shepherd. and she

is an artist and graphic designer  who c reated many of the interface  elements

for the Apple Macintosh  in the 1980s.

She has designed thousands of icons for the world’s leading software companies. She began her career at Apple, Inc. as the screen graphics and digital font designer for the original Macintosh computer.

What do you like about their style

• So, I like Susan Kare style because She is very good worker. She make many famous icon, typefaces and original marketing material for the original Macintosh Os. And She joined in apple Computer. She is best designer, her design the icon is very cool and have many people remember, and them like the icon. The icon that she make has much style such as cartoon, official logo, art and etc. last, The icon is so good and compact.

Do you thing graphic design would be the same today without the designer

• If now we haven’t got any graphic design everything in the world will be the same and not improve to be better. For examples like the advertisement board if there’re not any designer it will be always the same not change. So, I think if there’re not any graphic designers it won’t have any interesting thing for us. :]]]
