Step 4:

Scroll down and check out your friends, family and business associates birthdays. If there are any birthdays, it only takes two minute to acknowledge someone’s special day!

Step 5:

Next, it’s time to address what’s happening on your personal profile (or wall). To access your profile, scroll up and click on “Profile.”

Step 6:

Once on your Profile, it’s time to clean it up a bit.

Remove any applications you no longer want to appear on your Profile.

Step 7:

Honor the conversations that people are trying to have with you on Facebook.

Take the time to respond to what people have posted on your wall or have posted in response to something you said.

Step 8:It’s time to move onto your Fan Page (Facebook’s version of business pages).

I think the easiest way to find your Fan Page is to enter your business name into the search box at the top of Facebook. You only need to enter a few letters before Facebook knows what you are typing.

Once on your Fan Page, post a business related status update, an inspiring quote or a valuable article or blog link.

Step 9:

Almost Done! Click “Just Fans” to check in with your Fans and see if there are any comments posted that you need to respond to.

This strategy is best done first thing in the morning and then repeated once more at the end of your business day or before you go to bed.
