My Story

At my 16 years-old I got married and was forced to leave my studies. I promise to return to my studies when my sons are doing well. At that time of my life, a girl that got married wasn’t accepted in high school. Neither the community nor the school thought that my status was a negative image for the other girls. So, I focus my life in my family well-being. Today, 30 years after, I enroll in the University to finish my uncompleted personal goals.

I enjoy three of my four University classes. The first is Typewriting, I enjoy making different formats of letters and reports. In Spanish I enjoy listening to my professor when he reads and explain the different techniques and meanings that the different authors of American Hispanics use in their stories and novels. In my English class I enjoy when I learn how to work with a computer or web-site software teaching program and also when I begin to reach my goals. The class that I don’t like is my shorthand dictation class, because it makes me stress when I have a dictation speed letter. But, I really enjoyed my Typewriting, Spanish and English University classes.
