Open the front door of your HP Color LaserJet CP4025 printer. Make sure that the door is completely open.

Grasp the handle of the used print cartridge and pull out to remove.

Release the yellow print cartridge

With one hand, slowly continue to pull the yellow print cartridge out of the printer, while supporting the yellow print cartridge with your other hand. Then put it on a clean level surface

Pull the yellow print cartridge out

Unpack the new yellow print cartridge from its protective bag.

NOTE: Store the used yellow print cartridge in the protective bag that came with the new yellow print cartridge. Information about recycling used print cartridges can be found on the print cartridge box.

Unpack the new yellow print cartridge

Grasp both sides of the print cartridge and distribute the toner by gently rocking the print cartridge 5 or 6 times.

Rock the new yellow print cartridge

Remove the orange protective cover from the print cartridge.

CAUTION: Do not touch the green roller on top of the cartridge. Doing so can damage

the cartridge.

Remove the protective cover

Make sure the new yellow print cartridge is correctly aligned before trying to insert it into the slot.

Align the new yellow print cartridge

Gently push the yellow print cartridge into its slot until it clicks into place.

Insert the yellow print cartridge

Lift up the front door until it clicks into place.

Close the front door
