The opposite of explosion, implosion concentrates matter and energy.

An explosion is a rapid increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner.

Suction Cavitation - is caused by inadequate suction pressure.

Recirculation Cavitation - is caused by low flow through the pump this occurs at suction or discharge of the pump.

•The bearings will experience higher loading that will translate to premature failure.

When rotating components are out of balance.

•The mechanical seal faces can separate because of the induced vibration and shaft run out.

When rotating components are out of balance.

•The seal faces can become damaged as the vibration causes the carbon to bounce against the hard face.
