• Effectively build, schedule, and integrate promotional campaigns with each other.

• Whether or not every one is actually going to have access to the tool, every one needs to understand how it works so that they are providing the correct information.

Business Units

• We use business units to make it so we can sort through marketing tasks by a given area.

• For the purposes of these examples, we’re using the Example Continuing Students health continuing education courses.

• If we were to do multiple business units, others may be business continuing education courses or test prep for skills trade workers.

Structure Units • Structure units are the people who are responsible for

given tasks.

• In this example, we have a graphic designer for the print pieces, a web master for the web site, and John Smith, who responsible for the programming and marketing of this small program.

Tasks

• Tasks are the things that we need to get done to effectively market our courses.

• As the tool is used more, more tasks are added.

For this example, the start date is the start of the spring sessions, not a specific course
