HISTORY
First idea in 1977 but not succeeded.
Came up with Retro reflective material.
Presently Duke university uses “microwave beam deflection”.

OPTICAL CAMOUFLAGE????
It is a kind of “active camouflage”
The word Camouflage is originated from Paris ( CAMUFFARE+CAMOUFLET).
Work is done from a special material known as “retro-reflective material”.
RETRO REFLECTIVE MATERIALS
THINGS REQUIRED:
A garment made from “retro-reflective material”
A video camera
A computer
A projector
A special half mirror (combiner)
GARMENT(Cloak)
VIDEO CAMERA
Captured image createsillusion of invisibility
Video from cameramust be in digital format
COMPUTER
All reality systems rely on powerful computers
Calculates the perspective value and proceed image to project
PROJECTOR
It accomplishes task of modified image onto the half mirror.
Opening must be the size of pin hole.
Combiner
Reflects projected image towards cloak and bounce off to users eye
ADVANTAGES
Useful in car-parking for drivers
In aviation, cockpit floors could become 'invisible' to assist pilots during landing.
Military help soldiers to attack without being spotted.
DISADVANTAGES
Observer needs to look through a half-mirror.
