      • Facebook (social networking)
      • Twitter (social networking)
      • Picassa (photo sharing/photo editing)
    • Tools available for use and customization
      • Mozilla, Firefox (web browsing)
      • The GIMP (photo editing)

4. Type #2: aka Open Source

    • Open source is about collaboration.
    • Open source programs offer:
      • Access to the source code of the program
      • Free license to change the source code and the program
      • Total customizability for the programmer.
    • But you dont need to be a coder/expert to use the programs.
