MediaFire Upload and Sharing Tutorial (May 2013) 1. Create a Free MediaFire Account. In addition to other special features this cloud file sharing technology (similar to dropbox) allows you to store a total of 50 GB and 200 MB per file when using the free version.

2. Once you have a MediaFire account. Click on the “+” symbol on upper right of your page to upload some files to your MediaFire sharing folder.

3. You will have a screen pop up on the page with a giant “+” symbol in the middle. Either drag-and-drop files into that plus symbol or click on it to prompt an upload screen (you can queue multiple files for upload. Don’t forget to click the green button that says “Begin upload.”

4. You can then group all the files in subfolders that you can rename for specific projects. And you can choose to share the entire folder or the separate files via social media networks, email, or just send the URL via IM. The best option when doing professional work is via email.

5. In order to enter the share option, simply right click on the folder or individual file to get a dropdown menu with the “Share” option. Left Click on Share and you’re good to go.
